Hotel Spinale

Lovely hotel and extremely accessible for the slopes and apres. The modern decor has a luxurious feel to it and the communal areas are always spotlessly clean and tidy. The key card system for ski equipment lockers is efficient and convenient. The bar staff, in particular, are excellent! Nothing was ever too much trouble and service was always with warmth and attention to detail. The guy who performs the magic tricks with the drinks was lovely - such a credit to Hotel Spinale. Reception staff are knowledgeable, though the lady with the long curly hair does not exude warmth. She appears a little unapproachable but she is helpful when asked. Our room was comfortable and I slept reasonably well. The temperature can get a little warm though, so we had our window open every night. The only downside to this was that it was a little noisy from bottles being binned and revellers leaving a nearby club in the small hours. Breakfast was very well organised with plenty of choice and quick delivery of drinks. One suggestion would be to have two people serving omelettes and crepes as this was painfully slow. We ate in the restaurant on our first night but, sadly, I think we caught them on a bad night as it was the poorest (yet most expensive) meal of the week! We ate beef stroganoff. The portion size was no bigger than a starter yet was €35. It was cold. We didn’t send it back because, by this time, it was getting quite late and we didn’t want a late first night after a full day’s travelling. The dessert was ok but nothing special. No-one asked whether everything was ok because the waiting staff seemed to be flustered, confused and disorganised that night. The spa was lovely and we enjoyed our hour using the facilities. I had an amazing relaxing massage - it was great and a reasonable price for a 5 * hotel. We will try a different ski resort next year as the 3.5 hour transfer time to Madonna is a long one. However, should we ever return to the resort, Hotel Spinale would, hands down, be our accommodation of choice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this beautiful hotel. Thanks to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable and comfortable!

Cosy hotel with ski in/out and 5 min walk from very nice town centre. Competent kitchen prepares good dishes with nice variety, and the service from waiters is professional and friendly. Very nice bar with large selection and high service level. Spa area provides good facilities for 1 - 1 1/2 hour enjoyment.

Absolutely wonderful hotel with amazing staff and food . From the moment we arrived the staff were super friendly and genuinely keen to help . Davide at reception was excellent and the staff in breakfast room were really good . The breakfast was excellent and had everything required . Location is superb , about 20 yards from the ski lift and ski in and out . Lovely village and the skiing was excellent with well groomed pistes and not too busy . Looking forward to my return trip in March .

My daughter (aged 18) and I had the most wonderful experience and stay at hotel Spinale. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were taken care of. They accommodations were so comfortable!!! The details are so thoughtful! We booked for the spa right when we arrived. The breakfast spread was plentiful and beautiful. Right next to the Gondola Spinale lift. We would absolutely come back again.

The hotel was recently refurbished, and the rooms are modern, warm and welcoming. The staff is truly amazing and is there to assist your every needs. From the time of arrival to departure, you will always encounter smiling faces. Breakfast is varied with a nice bonus of having freshly squeezed orange juice. The hotel is just across the skilift and provides special rates for equipment rental by the skilift, so that that it is a great place if you like skiing, like we do. Thank you, we will definitely be back.

Great hotel in a perfect location. Top service and amenities with excellent restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Located right next to the slopes and in the centre of Madonna di Campiglio, which is a lovely little town. Spa and pool definitely a plus point.
